Nishimoto Hybrids is the only place I’ll take my ct200h. Amazing place to have my car serviced. These people are wonderful. I recently took my Prius to them for preventative maintenance (as the 3rd Gen is known for head gasket issues). When I called them on the phone I noticed right away how kind and transparent they were about parts and repair. I had my 2009 Prius towed to Nishimoto from Kettleman city at the recommendation of the tow truck driver. It turned out to be a perfect place to leave the car. Nishimoto gave me an estimate right away for the repairs both written and over the phone that was detailed and easy to understand. There was more repair than I wanted to do on that old car so they helped me sell it to someone in their area and were patient with keeping the car on their lot for a couple of days until the sale went through. They helped with the sale by talking to the buyer about the value of the car, providing the mileage, and transferring the key. I was glad that I found out about them because, even from a distance, I felt like I could trust them with being treated fairly and honestly.

Literally an amazing place with very awesome staff. The mechanic did an amazing job working on diagnosing my issues with my car as I drive a hybrid (gas/electric). Definitely worth it as I’ve gotten more insight on what I should do with my car from now on including what I need to do when getting either a used or new car in the future. From what I know, they can change your hybrid battery for your car if you have something like a Toyota Prius (eg. 2010 model) along with some other repair services for your vehicles. The staff definitely know what to do when it comes to cars that require more maintenance and repairs. They’re even better than my old mechanic. Definitely recommend and I will come back soon if I need to repair my ride. Thanks again guys!!!

I had my vehicle serviced again on 10/20/25. I received excellent service/work as always. One of my favorite experiences with this establishment, is knowing they have trusted/knowledgeable mechanics. It’s worth the drive from Fresno to Reedley.

Nishimoto Hybrids is top notch! The work they do is very efficient! I took my vehicle to a different auto shop to get what I needed fixed. It took that place 3 times to attempt to fix the problem. I finally made time to travel to Reedley (It’s worth the drive.) Nishimoto Hybrids took care of the issue in a timely manner and resolved the problem. I am very pleased and satisfied with their work and customer service. I am a happy/satisfied customer. I have no doubt where to take my vehicle. I have found an excellent home to take my car to and you should too.

I went to see Derek with 3 different things that I thought needed to be fixed. He was honest and let me know that none of those things needed to be fixed. He did make adjustments and add lubricant to help with the issues I was having. One of the things he did was check my window which I thought needed the motor replaced, but it just needed an adjustment. He played with the window and got it back on track and saved me money! Nishimoto hybrids was literally an answer to prayer.

I am very thankful for their service I have a 2018 Chevy volt I needed to have it checked out since I had it for over 1 yr and was getting concerned about sounds I was hearing I was getting really worried and
I did not want to get ripped off by any shop telling me I needed unnecessary repairs.

But my experience since the time I called Noshimoto the owner (which was a female) answerd the phone and as I explained what I been experiencing with the car she gave me a lot information about my car since they also own a Chevy volt different yr then mine from her comments she began to give me peace of mind I was looking forward to have them service my car; when I got there they were super friendly and informative, I found out my car had specific buttons I needed to use in order for my car to perform at its best.

They found nothing wrong with my car!!!
I was just not using certain features correctly that caused a little bit of a hiccups while I was driving the car causing my car not to work properly.

They could of taken advantage of me, but they did not they told me it was literally user error. 😞

I paid a very very very reasonable fee for their diagnostic.
I personally was thinking I may need to sell the car because of the issues I was having.

But instead they gave me so much information about the cars features that I literally changed my mind about selling it.

Derek in his lovely wife definitely are going to be God willing my trusted mechanics from now on. I love 30 min away I don’t mind the drive to get to their shop.

I’m so glad I found Nishimoto! Derek was able to complete a spark plug replacement service for $150 dollars less than what Toyota of Selma wanted to charge. He also ran a diagnostic on a check engine light, and referred me to another place to complete a service he did not provide. Response time was quick, professional and courteous. I found this business mistakenly trying to call other business in Fresno, and so far it has been one of the best mistakes I have made. When I spoke to the business owner, Derek, I just knew he was going to maintenance my electric vehicle because of his knowledge. So far he’s been very accurate on his diagnosis, repairs, and services. Great customer service and NO more waiting two hours at the dealer for regular maintenance.
Prices are very reasonable and anyone can see services being done.

My experience was extremely satisfying to know that I could get my engine replaced, had 210,000 miles and needed a new one fast. Derek the mechanic was very helpful in guiding me through the process of buying the engine I needed and installing it in a few days. I went with a low mile used engine on my Lexus CT200h hybrid and this used engine runs very nice sounds exactly the same, power and mileage are better now was getting 40 miles a gallon now it’s up to 45-50 right now. I’m so glad that I found Derek to repair my brakes on my Prius. I had 3 warning lights on and had taken it to a few other mechanic who weren’t sure what to do. Derek did a very thorough diagnosis on my car and told me I needed a new Actuator. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and above all, honest.
