We Repaired a honda civic hybrid had a blown 100a 450v battery pack fuse. Then we found the wires were crossed during installation of the battery pack previously from coming to Nishimoto Hybrids.
We tested the voltage to the battery pack and its functionality and discovered the DC – DC converter was damaged and needed replacement.
We used our diagnostic software and scan tool and voltage meter and back probed the components and were able to find the repairs needed to fix this vehicle without damaging it.
Watch out when doing your own hybrid auto repairs. It is necessary to be very careful to avoid damage to the vehicle and worst of all injury or death.
